Opening of painting exhibition
'Lightness of being Anxious'
by Ashoke Mullick

 

On 17th of February2010, Aakriti Art Gallery hosted the opening of the solo painting exhibition titled Lightness of being Anxious by Ashoke Mullick. H.E. Dr. Silvio Pentrella, Hon'ble Acting Consul General of Italy inaugurated the show. The other dignitaries included Mrs. Jayshree Mohta, Mr. Nelson Fernandez OBE, Director, NFA International Arts & Culture, Mr. Frank Barthelemy, art collector, Mr. & Mrs. Hans van de Bunte and other reputed persons from various walks of life. The opening was also graced by the well known art fraternity of Kolkata like Jogen Chowdhury, Ganesh Haloi, Lalu Prasad Shaw,Tapas Konar, Chhatrapati Dutta, Amitava Dhar, Sekhar Roy, Samindranath Majumder, Pranabranjan Ray, Sovan Som, Prasanta Daw, Mrinal Ghosh, Nanak Ganguly and others.
